Shipping policy

1. Shipping and fees 

BagID uses Posten and other international carriers. These terms apply for B2C only. Separate terms apply for business orders. Please contact us if you would like to place an order for your company.

2. Delivery terms

Our warehouse is located in Norway, and has a processing time of 1-2 business days. Your order should be delivered within 1-2 business days + estimated shipping time. Orders are picked and packed in chronological order and shipped continuously from Monday and Friday. We do not pick and pack orders on national holidays. We deliver our products in discreet plastic bags or cardboard boxes, depending on the size and weight of your order. 

We ship internationally with UPS/DHL. Please note that we may contact you if we need further information to ship your order. Check your email (including your spam folder) regularly to ensure you do not miss updates from us. 

2.1 Posten Norge (for domestic orders) 

Delivery with Posten normally takes 2 to 5 business days. Please note that delivery times may vary depending on the destination, and that there could be occasional circumstances leading to longer delivery times. The indicated delivery time is an estimate. Your package will be sent to your mailbox. If the package is too large for your mailbox, or if it is full, the shipping carrier will deliver it to the nearest pick-up point. You should receive a text and/or email directly from Postnord. We encourage you to download Posten's app to track your packages (Apple/Android).

Upon receiving your package, please inspect the products to ensure they match your order confirmation and the pick list inside your package. Check for any damages. If you notice any deviations, please contact us at support@bagid.no or via our contact form.

2.2 UPS/DHL (for orders abroad)

For international orders, estimated delivery time is 3-7 business days within the EU. For orders to the rest of the world, the estimated delivery time may vary depending on the destination. Please note that delivery times may vary depending on the destination, and that there could be occasional circumstances leading to longer delivery times.

Upon receiving your package, please inspect the products to ensure they match your order confirmation and the pick list inside your package. Check for any damages. If you notice any deviations, please contact us at support@bagid.no or via our contact form.

3. Sustainable delivery

Posten systematically works to reduce the climate impact of its delivery services by increasing the use of electric and fossil-free vehicles, with the goal of achieving fossil-free transport by 2030. The company offers more environmentally friendly delivery options such as parcel lockers, sets stricter environmental requirements for suppliers, and actively works to improve driving behaviour.

4. Cancellation or change of delivery address

Posten only delivers to Norwegian addresses. You must be registered at the address you provide when placing an order at bagid.com. Please update or check if Posten has the correct address in the app.

If you need to change your contact or delivery information after placing an order, please contact us immediately. Orders are picked and packed as they come in, which means that BagID cannot guarantee cancellation or change to the address before your order is shipped from our warehouse.

If your order has already been shipped before the information is updated, you can use your right of withdrawal and return the package within 30 days of receiving it. 

5. Unclaimed packages 

If you fail to collect your package, this will be considered a breach of your agreement with us. Unclaimed packages will be returned to our warehouse, and BagID will charge you a fee to cover shipping and administrative costs, typically 199 NOK for domestic orders and 499 NOK for orders made outside of Norway. Please note that you have the option to extend the pick-up deadline or authorize someone else to collect your package if it has been sent to a pick-up point. 

If the package is returned to us due to:

  • Incorrect address or delivery information;
  • Insufficient labeling of your door or mailbox;
  • Other conditions for which you, as the buyer are responsible of

BagID may charge you for shipping and administrative costs. 

6. VAT and customs duties

All prices shown on bagid.com includes VAT. There will be no additional costs, meaning that you see in the check-out is the total price you are paying. Custom duties are included in the product prices. 

7. Disclaimer

BagID is responsible for the goods until they have been delivered to the you or to a person designated by the you. Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by circumstances outside our control, including carrier delays.

You are responsible for providing accurate delivery and contact information. We are not liable for delays or non-delivery resulting from incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer.

If a shipment is lost or delivery issues occur due to carrier handling, we will assist in initiating a claims process with the carrier. This does not affect any statutory rights the consumer may have under applicable law. BagID will notify you if this applies to your order.
