The BagID can be attached to your luggage with an attachment plate. The plate can be used on both hard suitcases and soft bags.
The mounting plate is difficult to remove from baggage once fastened, so take care in deciding which piece of luggage you attach it to. If you plan on using BagID on multiple items of luggage, you will need multiple mounting plates, or go for an attachment case instead which can be switched between suitcases.
How to mount the attachment plate
Stick the four pins through the mounting plate and baggage, and secure them with the small magnets on the inside of the luggage. (The same technology is used for clothing theft alarms in clothing stores). The mounting plate is securely fastened, and can only be removed with a magnet remover tool.
Travel in style
Choose your favourite casing and customise the background on your BagID. Decorate it with art from Inzpero and optional text that you choose, directly from the BagID app.
Make it personal - and make sure your BagID looks cool on your bag when you are not traveling with checked-in baggage as well.
Built in privacy
BagID 2 sends out an encrypted Bluetooth signal through devices in the Apple Find My and SmartThings Find network.
You are in control of your own location data and BagID does not have access to find out where your BagID 2 is located.
