BagID has been awarded NOK 11.1 million in research and development funding by Innovation Norway.

BagID will run several development tracks. These include updating the current version of their electronic baggage tag and developing a third-generation tag for mass adoption. Solutions for baggage tracking are also part of our portfolio. In total, BagID has a development portfolio of NOK 50 million over the next two years.
“BagID AS has achieved international recognition and attention. The contract they now have with Aena confirms this. Our mission is to stimulate more innovation and value creation in Norwegian business. This project certainly has the potential to deliver strongly on that,” says Helge Gjerde, Director at Innovation Norway Møre og Romsdal.
