Attachment plate

All BagIDs are sold with an Attachment Casing of your choice included. The attachment plate however is an optional, more permanent solution for securing the BagID to your suitcase. 

The attachment plate is mounted to your suitcase using a combination of adhesive and metal pins. This provides high security, as the BagID can only be detached from the plate from inside the suitcase. It is compatible with both soft and hard-shell suitcases.

When mounted correctly, the plate is extremely robust and designed to stay in place. Once attached to your suitcase, it is not possible to remove without damaging or breaking the plate. Therefore, we recommend carefully selecting the luggage you wish to use it on. The pins and magnets within the plate utilize technology similar to that used in clothing security tags, meaning removal may require a strong magnet.

If you frequently travel with different types of suitcases, we recommend using the included Attachment Casing you get when purchasing a BagID 2, which can be easily transferred between bags.
